Therapy for Teen Girls

Growing up today comes with a lot of pressure.

Therapy can give you a space to feel understood, supported, and more confident in who you are.

Many teens I work with are navigating:

  • Anxiety and constant overthinking

  • Low self-esteem

  • Difficulty making or keeping friends

  • Family stress or communication challenges

  • Feeling overwhelmed by expectations

These struggles can feel isolating, but they are more common than you think.

A woman with glasses and brown hair tied back sitting in a chair, talking to a young woman with curly hair in a bun, wearing a plaid shirt, sitting on a sofa. They are in a bright room with white brick walls and a potted plant.

I create a space where teens feel safe, respected, and heard.

There is no judgment. Sessions are focused on helping teens express what they are feeling and understand what is going on beneath the surface.

I work directly with teens while also keeping parents informed through appropriate check-ins.

Together, we focus on:

  • Building confidence and self-esteem

  • Understanding emotions and reactions

  • Developing healthier coping skills

  • Improving communication and relationships

I meet each teen where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable.

  • This is a space where teens can feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment.

Sessions go beyond just talking and focus on building skills that help them navigate real-life challenges with more confidence. I provide encouragement in a way that feels steady and not overwhelming, and I often use humor to help lighten moments that feel heavy.

Over time, teens begin to feel more confident in who they are, better able to manage their emotions, and more connected in their relationships. Many start to feel a greater sense of control in their life and a noticeable shift in how they handle stress and challenges.

If you are a parent, it can be hard to know how to help.

Therapy provides your teen with a neutral space while still keeping you appropriately involved in their progress.
